The Australia Malaysia Business Council (NSW Chapter), in collaboration with our valued sponsor Lucca Property, was honoured to attend the Gala Dinner marking the official launch of Visit Malaysia 2026 and the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Seminar. This prestigious event was held at the iconic Fullerton Hotel Sydney, a fitting venue for a night that celebrated the rich cultural and commercial bonds between Australia and Malaysia.

Hosted by the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and Tourism Malaysia, the evening was graced by YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, the Honourable Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia. His presence and address underscored Malaysia’s renewed commitment to positioning itself as a premier travel destination and long-stay hub through strategic initiatives like Visit Malaysia 2026 and the MM2H program.

The Gala Dinner and seminar offered a glimpse into Malaysia’s vision for the future of tourism—focusing on sustainability, cultural richness, and global connectivity—while reinforcing the vital relationship shared between our two nations. These programs are not only set to boost tourism and foreign investment but also serve to deepen the people-to-people and business-to-business exchanges that make our bilateral relationship so vibrant.

The AMBC NSW Executive Committee extends our heartfelt thanks to our partners and hosts for the warm hospitality, and we remain proud to support initiatives that bridge our two countries and create meaningful opportunities for collaboration and growth.
We look forward to playing an active role in furthering these goals in the lead-up to Visit Malaysia 2026.
